Your model, your key
You bring a key from your provider's developer console. A ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini subscription is a different thing, and it will not work here.
The extension is free. Your provider bills you for what you use, on your own account, at their rates. We never see the key or the conversation.

Goes to the provider you chose, under your key, at the moment you ask. Nothing is sent before that.

Never leaves the browser. It is used only to read the flow from your own org.

Reasonable questions
Do I need an API key?
Yes. One from Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google, pasted into the panel once and kept in your browser. A ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini subscription is a different thing and will not work here.
What does it cost?
The extension is free. Your provider bills you for the usage on your own account, at their rates. The panel tells you when a question re-read the whole flow, so the expensive ones are not a surprise.
Does it change my flows?
No. It reads the last saved version and never writes anything back to your org. Every edit is still yours to make in Flow Builder.
Will my security team need to approve it?
There is nothing to install in the org, no connected app and no package. It is a browser extension reading a page you already have open, so the conversation is usually about Chrome extension policy rather than Salesforce.
How big a flow can it handle?
Most flows fit comfortably. If one is too large for the model you picked, you are told before you send, along with a model that can take it.
Does it work in sandboxes?
Yes. It works wherever Flow Builder does, sandbox or production, using the session you already have.
